A Prosperous New Year to You, Moviemaker!

A hearty Happy New Year to all! I’m praying right now that you will experience amazing breakthrough this year.

Keep your dreams in focus – more focus than ever before. Write the vision down, make it plain on tablets of stone! So that people can read it and RUN WITH YOU! (Habakkuk 2:2)

Focus on the first commandment and making it truly first in your lives! Yeshua is WORTHY of our praise – and labor! Let’s make shorts, commercials, podcasts, documentaries, ministry videos and feature length films in 2011 that give the Lamb the reward of His sufferings – leading souls (lost and saved!) close to the heart of Yeshua by EXALTING His name – the name of Yeshua (Jesus)!

I was privileged to join with about 25,000 others at the Onething gathering put on by IHOP-KC these last few days. Much worship of King Yeshua and interceding in prayer for the nations took place in an atmosphere of solemnity and joy like no other gathering I’ve been to of any sort. If you’re looking for any this New Year’s Day, there’s bound to be some inspiration for you in the video archives (click image below)

Also I’ve included some very practical direction from Larry Jordan, an amazing resource for video creators (just below image). Think about subscribing to his awesome (free) newsletter!

And bless you! Go forth and make moves that SHAKE for Yeshua!

Excellent Media 2011 Overview from Larry Jordan:
1. Budgets will never go back to where they were.
2. The increasing expectation that one person should “do it all.”
3. Media technology is ubiquitous.
4. There is a total disconnect between production and distribution, and neither side respects the other.
5. Tapeless media is a fact of life.
6. “The Cloud” is absolutely a two-edged sword.
7. Our audience is impatient.
8. It’s become a “download world.”
9. Audiences expect everything to be free, or, at least, really, REALLY cheap.
10. The demise of traditional media means that marketing is more diversified, more complex, and more critical than ever before.
11. “Good enough” is good enough.
